INTRODUCTION
COMMUNE ART GALLERY was set up as the fulfillment of a personal dream relating to a passion for art. What started as a love of art gradually ballooned into an eclectic collection of paintings over time and required larger space to display them for personal appreciation and for sharing with others. The paintings are by aspiring as well as established artists from China and locally. They cover a wide range of subjects, styles and theme.
INTENT
- Support and contribute to the art scene in Malaysia
- Organise exhibitions for local and foreign artists
- Provide exposure for the artists to the general public
- Introduce new and upcoming artists to the public
- Bring art to the community and encourage people to appreciate art styles of different character from different perspectives
- Inspire people to develop a greater love for art and to display art works in their homes
- Provide a place for the young and old to express themselves freely and confidently through painting
